Baby Peacock Monitor

The Peacock Monitor (Varanus auffenbergi) is a dwarf monitor species that is found in Indonesia. This dwarf monitor grows only 10-12 inches so it makes a great species for captivity. These monitors have become hard to get and there are several credible rumors that Indonesia will soon ban the export of them. The ones we have in stock now are captive born babies that are only 5 inches in length including tail! They are super cute!
